Elise Testone: Killin It
If you never got a chance to see Elise Testone perform in the Holy City, you may have missed your chance. Testone, a Charleston-area resident, could be found playing solo or with her band (the Freeloaders) throughout the area quite often. She gathered a strong local following and received recognition in the Charleston City Paper’s 2011 Music awards issue, but Testone is now making headlines nationwide. After a successful audition for American Idol, Testone has been rapidly moving up the ranks. I caught her performance on tonight’s episode and she absolutely killed it. She’s got a great voice and the judges really seem to love her. Best of Luck to Elise!
