Charles Towne Landing Review

Published

on

This is a review of Charles Towne Landing I wrote on 3/23/11 for a different site. I just wanted to make sure it was available on here as well! Enjoy!

Charles Towne Landing, Charleston (West Ashley area), SC

The property is where a group of English settlers landed in 1670 and established what would become the birthplace of the Carolinas colony.” It can be a little dull at times, but over Charles Towne Landing is pretty interesting.

There are beautiful views of the marshes around the Ashley River, a few awesome animal exhibits (bison, bobcat, bears, deer, etc.) and it’s quite peaceful. It was nice to walk around with the Lady Friend, holding hands, joking, and learning about the history of our beloved city.
