Race To Save a Life!
We all love to support charities, but inevitably some become more special to each of us for varying reasons. One cause that I’m a total sucker for is adopting pets. I don’t think there is anything wrong with buying a pet from a reputable breeder, but there’s something special about “pound puppies.” The Pet Smart in West Ashley, along with HumaneNet, is holding a three-day “Race to Save a Life Mega-Match-A-Thon” starting tomorrow (Friday) where you can see some awesome animals looking for their “forever home.”
Even if you aren’t looking to adopt a new pet, you should still go check out the cuddly dogs and give them some much desired attention. There are other ways to help out the local SPCAs and animal rescues while you are there!
