SK8 and CRE8
A fundraiser is being held for the Charleston Charter School for Math and Science and you can help! According to the event’s Facebook page, funds are trying to be raised for a unique addition to the school’s physical education curriculum: Skateboarding! Pour it Now, a nonprofit that advocates for public skate parks, is buying the initial gear for the school and their “SK8 and CRE8” fundraiser will aid in this goal.
Artists have taken used skateboard decks and turned them into creative artwork which will be up for auction! The fundraiser takes place on Thursday, April 5 from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm.
