2012 SAL All-Star Game Festivities

The South Atlantic League All-Star Game is almost here and the Holy City is ready to celebrate! The SAL is the home of the Charleston Riverdogs and they will play the part of host for this year’s league all-star game. Besides the game, the Home Run Derby may be the most anticipated event.

Here’s a run-down:

6/17/12 – SAL All-Star Game Welcome Luau – Lookout Pavillion at The Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina – 7pm, $20, meal/open bar. Buy tickets HERE.

6/18/12 – Batting Practice/Home Run Derby – USS Yorktown – 11am, FREE, Watch as batters hit into the Charleston Harbor!, Includes access to the Yorktown if you mention the code “All-Star” at the gate.

6/18/12 – SAL All-Star Game Welcome Reception Dinner – Hibernian Hall, Meeting Street – 7pm, $25, All-Stars and executives will be in attendance.

6/19/12 – Hall of Fame Luncheon – Charleston Marriott Hotel – 11:45am, $35, Limited Tickets available HERE, RiverDogs co-owner Bill Murray, Charleston Mayor Joe Riley, and Asheville Tourists operator Carolyn McKee will be inducted into SAL Hall of Fame, New York Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman will be a guest speaker.

6/19/12 – All-Star Fanfest – Outside of Joe Riley Park – 2:30pm, FREE, live music, inflatables, face-painting, autographs, more.

6/19/12 – 53rd annual SAL All-Star Game – Joe Riley Park – 7:30pm, Tickets can be purchased HERE, Prices range.

6/19/12 – All-Star Postgame Beach Party – Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina Beach – 10:30pm, $25, buy tickets HERE, live music, snacks, beverages, player appearances.
