CofC Will Be Represented in the Olympics
The College of Charleston will be represented at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, but not for Team USA. Andrew Lawrence, a guard on the Cougar’s basketball team, will be playing for Great Britain. Games start on July 29th.
Lawrence had a team high average of 5.5 assists-per-game last year and finished second on the Cougars in scoring with 13 points-per-game.
This is only the second time the team from Great Britain has qualified for the Olympics.
