Charleston Pride 2012

Charleston Pride Week will feature a plethora of events throughout the Charleston area from Thursday through Sunday.

Thursday (July 12) 

-“Art for Pride” Art Walk, Park Circle, 5pm – 8pm
–LGBT Film Festival , The Olde North Charleston Picture House, 7pm & 9pm shows
-“Faces of Gay Men in America,” South of Broadway Theatre, 7:30pm – 10pm
-Takeover Charleston at DIG in the Park Kick Off Party, 6pm – 10pm

Friday (July 13)
–Charleston Pride Pageant, Music Farm, 6pm – 9pm
–Charleston Pride Dance Party, Music Farm, 9pm – 2am

Saturday (July 14)
–The Charleston Pride Parade, Park Circle, 11am – 12pm
-The Charleston Pride Rally, Riverfront Park, 12pm – 5pm
–Neptune: The Official Charleston Pride Party, South Carolina Aquarium, 9pm – 2am
–Worship: After-Party, South Carolina Aquarium, 2am – 5am

Sunday (July 15)
-Charleston Pride Tea Dance, Folly Beach, 12pm-7pm
-Closing Ceremonies, DIG in the Park

***UPDATE 7/14/12**** A previous version of this article featured some inexcusable errors. I inaccurately stated that Takeover Charleston was behind the Charleston Pride entity and celebrations. In fact, Charleston Pride is put on by Charleston Pride Festival, Inc. They are separate from Takeover Charleston.
