The 32nd Edition of the Southern Living Taste of Charleston will take place September 28-30th and, as usual, culminates with Sunday’s main event at Boone Hall Plantation. The event is one of the most popular annual celebrations in the Lowcountry and consists of multiple plans throughout the weekend. There will be four events this year, including a couple new ones.

-Some of the best Holy City chefs will go head-to-head in the Culinary Institute’s amphitheater kitchen.

Saturday, Sept. 29th: Sweet and Southern, The Lighthouse on Shem Creek

-A concert featuring singer/songwriters from Nashville. Boat cruises will be available. Charleston caterers will also be on hand to serve classic Southern fare.

Friday & Saturday Sept. 28th/29th: Dine Around, Various Restaurants

-A prix fix menu and special beer pairing menu throughout the Charleston area.

Sunday, Sept. 30th: The Main Event, Boone Hall Plantation

-Taste some of the best local cuisine from more than 50 Charleston restaurants. There will also be live music, waiter’s wine race, children’s area and exhibitions.
