Scott’s Bar-B-Que Coming to Holy City?

Breaking News about the Holy City coming out of….Washington, D.C.?

Yup, that’s right – today the Washington Post reported some great news involving Charleston. The revered Scott’s Bar-B-Que from Hemingway, SC is probably going to be opening a Chucktown location.

Owner Rodney Scott broke the news to the Post while in the nation’s capital was to accept a 2012 American Treasures Award. The honor was given by  Made: In America, a group that promotes American products.

Scott also talked to the Post about the national attention his restaurant has been getting and how nervous he was the night before receiving his award.
