CrossBridge 5K Pancake Run
What would be better to eat after a grueling 5k than pancakes? Not much, that’s for sure! The 1st Annual CrossBridge 5k Pancake Run will combine running with some postrace flapjacks on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Laurel Hill Plantation in Mt. Pleasant.
Running through the picturesque Laurel Hill Plantation grounds should be quite a thrill, plus who among us doesn’t love fluffy pancakes!? And to top it off, you’ll be supporting a pretty awesome group – CrossBridge Family Ministries. Regardless of your personal beliefs, you have to appreciate what CrossBridge stands for.
According to the group’s official website: “Bridging the gap between the delivery of health care system and the needs of family members in health care crisis, CrossBridge is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping families as they cope with complex medical diagnoses and other life changing events. CrossBridge provides financial, emotional and spiritual support to all in need without prejudice and regardless of their faith.”
