Nick Collins from Fowler’s Mustache in Serious Accident

Nick Collins, a guitarist and vocalist from Fowler’s Mustache, was in a serious car accident early Friday morning. Collins was ejected from a car and onto I-526. While he was on the ground a 18-wheeler ran over his legs. The truck did not stop and the driver has not been found. Collins is stable, but still in an ICU. He reportedly has been improving each day.

The band has been receiving a lot of support from area businesses, musicians, fans, and friends. You can follow his progress HERE.

-If you have information regarding this collision, you can contact Officer Matt Wojslawowicz at (843) 965-4084. The 18-wheeler was driving east on I-526 around 2:30 Friday morning.

-The band is encouraging folks to make blood donations since Collins received a lot of blood during his ordeal. MUSC has a donation center  available Monday-Friday.
