Download Luke Cunningham tune, help Nick Collins!
Local singer/songwriter Luke Cunningham and his band are stepping up to help Nick Collins and his family. You may remember that Collins, a member of Fowler’s Mustache, was in a horrific car accident last month and is still recovering. The Charleston community has been overwhelming in their support, but more help is needed.
Cunningham and company have come up with an inexpensive way to chip in. From August 29th until October 1st, the band will be donating 100% of all download sales of “Songs About California (Live From 105.5FM Charleston Sound Sessions)” to Collins’s recovery fund. So head on over to iTunes and download it now! You can certainly spare the 99 cents!
But your giving doesn’t have to stop there! There are TWO upcoming events that will donate proceeds to Collins’s recovery effort.
On Sunday, September 23rd a benefit concert will be held at the Awendaw Green. Bands scheduled to perform include: Sol Driven Train, Acousticmuffin, the Reckoning, Ten Toes Up, Danielle Howle with Firework Show, the Killer Whales, Stained Glass Wall, and Fowler’s Mustache.
The new Chucktown After 5 series will also hold a benefit on October 5th.
