Vote for The City Paper Music Awards NOW!
After taking nominations over the last month or so, The Charleston City Paper has finally released their finalists for their Music Awards. You can vote for your favorites HERE. You don’t have to currently live in the Holy City to vote, so vote away you wannabe Charleston-ites!
Not to sway your opinion, but a few of my favorite bands (or individual members) are up for some awards! That would include: Crowfield (Tyler Mechem, Whitt Algar, Parker Gins), Dangermuffin (Mike Sivilli), Old You (Young-Mi Feldsott, Shovels & Rope (Cary Anne Hearst, Michael Trent), Sol Driven Train (Joel Timmons), Righchus, and Fowlers Mustache.
There are a few bands/musicians I’ve never heard of and I’m sure some of them kick ass, so I’ll be checking the rest out! I suggest you do the same because Charleston has a surprisingly good music scene.
