2012 Folly Float Frenzy
Do you fashion yourself as a modern-day Huckleberry Finn? Then be sure to head out to Folly Beach this Saturday for the 2012 Folly Float Frenzy. Contestants will gather at the Folly River Boat Landing to show off rafts they’ve created themselves. Everyone will then take their makeshift floats and cruise on down the Folly River to the Sunset Cay Marina.
There will be plenty of prizes and an after party for all participants. The party includes a concert from Dangermuffin and Nathan Salley. Plus, the event supports the Folly Relief Fund. So get out to the Edge of America and show off your sweet creativity, handiwork and rafting skills.
If you’d like to just attend just the concert, head to the Sunset Cay Marina around 1 pm. It will only cost you a $5 donation to the Folly Relief Fund in order to attend.
