2012 Charleston MAC OFF
The Charleston MAC OFF is back! The fairly new annual event features Holy City restaurants battling each other for the title of Greatest Macaroni & Cheese!
The 2012 MAC OFF will be held at Mount Pleasant’s Waterfront Park on Friday, October 26th. Tickets are $10 or $30 (plus tax) and can be purchased at the event or beforehand HERE. The more expensive option will get you 25 “tasting tickets.” Otherwise, mac & cheese samples will run you $1 per dish.
Besides all the yummy mac & cheese, there will also be live music, a mechanical bull, fire hoop dancers and plenty of adult beverages for purchase. Beverages will range from $3-$5.
According to the event’s official Facebook page the following restaurants are scheduled to participate: Crave, Graze, Magnolia’s, Falyn’s on 41, Mad River, Coleman House, The Roost, Poogan’s Porch, Cherry Point BBQ, B. Gourmet, Sesame Burgers and Beer, Duke’s BBQ, The Shelter, J Paulz, Smoky Oak, Pot Kettle Black.
