Be SAFE and SMART this Weekend!
For those of you attending Skinful this weekend, please be sure to have a designated driver or call a taxi to get you home safely! Besides the fact it’s the smart thing to do, there will be an increased police presence. This is from the Post & Courier:
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is planning increased traffic enforcement Saturday on James Island, including DUI saturation patrols and safety checkpoints.
Traffic deputies and members of the Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic Unit will be out in force from 7 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, particularly in the areas of Folly Road and Riverland Drive, Maj. Jim Brady said.
