Free Theft Protection Class Offered Tonight

In the wake of the South Carolina Department of Revenue’s massive security breach, many of you are probably worried about protecting your credit. A local nonprofit organization will be holding a FREE theft protection class in North Charleston to help with any questions you may have. The group, Family Services, Inc., will present “Protect Your Identity: Don’t be the victim!” from 6 pm until 8 pm at 4925 Lacross Road (Suite 105).

Also, the Post & Courier has a good piece about other steps you can take to protect your identity and credit aside from the free one-year monitoring service provided by the state.
