Haypenny Confections Tries to Make a Name for Itself
I recently received an e-mail from Danielle Loveless saying I should check out her new business. I wasn’t sure what to expect from Haypenny Confections, but after salivating all over my keyboard from looking at their tasty dessert treats posted on their website, it’s safe to say I can’t wait to learn more.
I have yet to try their treats, so I’ll let Danielle explain what they offer:
“We are a brand-spankin’ new business that just started serving up sticky treats to Charleston folks. We hand-craft gourmet marshmallows in a variety of flavors using real ingredients (for example, real pumpkin in our pumpkin spice ‘mallow). We also make our own graham crackers, and soon will be using a local chocolatier for our chocolates. Our s’mores are a modern twist on the classic treat…”
According to Danielle, that S’mores Bar is a crowd favorite and I can see why – it, along with the other flavor options, looks delicious.
Haypenny Confections has already been present at local events and they will keep that M.O. as they attend the Lowcountry Artist Market and Second Sunday on King Street events. They also do private events (weddings, birthday parties, fundraisers, holiday gatherings, etc.) and will soon start selling s’mores kits on their website.
As if you needed more incentive to check them out, the company is offering a drawing for a “Haypenny S’moregasbord” to anyone who Likes them on Facebook between now and Black Friday (that’s today)! Be sure to head over there and Like them ASAP! You can also view their website HERE.
