Rumors & Notes 12/9/12

Here is a new section, I’m dubbing “Rumors & Notes.” I’ll post these little tidbits when there are stories that can’t be completely confirmed or don’t constitute a full blog entry, but deserve some attention.

• I’m hearing The Orange Spot Coffeehouse is aiming for a March opening date. Stay tuned..
• Gov. Haley considering Jim DeMint’s replacement. Some folks think her choice will be Rep. Tim Scott.
• One person we know it won’t be: Stephen Colbert.
• The Collins Family gave an update on Nick’s condition. He just finished a skin graft and is doing well.
• Remember Craig Mack, the Bad Boy rapper, from the 90s? Well, I was reading this week’s Rolling Stone and he was featured in the Top 50 Rap Songs of All-Time List. The little blurb mentioned he now lives in SC. I looked it up online and found out he is in Walterboro. Some reports say he is in a cult there. Weird..
