“Rumors & Notes” – I’ll post these little tidbits when there are stories that can’t be completely confirmed or don’t constitute a full blog entry, but deserve some attention.

• Jake Shimabukuro is returning to the Holy City on March 1st. He’ll be playing at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center
• Nick Collins is attempting to walk again after 5 months in the hospita (Mount Pleasant Patch).
• Darius Rucker has been tabbed to sing the National Anthem at the Outback Bowl. Rucker’s South Carolina Gamecocks are playing the Michigan Wolverines in the game.
• Wondering what Haypenny Confection’s new marshmallow flavor that incorporates one of the beers from Holy City Brewing tastes like…
• Bieber Fever is coming to South Carolina. The Biebs will be playing in Columbia in August. Tickets go on sale on Friday.
• Goose Creek reconsiders smoking ban for town (ABC News 4).
• The Taco Spot was featured in an article from Forbes. They are under the “Facebook ordering” section.
