Ok, Now Travel + Leisure just seems desparate

We certainly love all the praise and accolades that Travel + Leisure has heaped on our fair city, but now they are starting to act like that clingy girlfriend that won’t leave you alone.

I kid! Thank you Travel + Leisure for once again honoring us on one of your “Best” lists.

The magazine listed Charleston as one of the Best Places to Spend Christmas. Between the weather, the Christmas decorations downtown, the tree in Marion Square, the Festival of Lights in James Island, multiple parades, and the large list of holiday activities, who could blame Travel + Leisure for including the Holy City on yet another list.
