Two Polar Bear Plunge Options For You Crazies

If you are one of the nutballs looking to jump into freezing cold water on January 1st, then you are in luck. The Holy City will have two Polar Bear plunges to kick-off the new year.

Folly Beach’s version starts at noon by the pier. Following the plunge you can warm up at the oyster roast at the Tides hotel.

Meanwhile, Dunleavy’s Pub will be hosting their Polar Plunge in Sullivan’s Island. Their event starts at 11 am, but the actual plunge happens at 1 pm. Proceeds will benefit the South Carolina Special Olympics. Regardless if you attend, donations are accepted HERE.
