Former RiverDogs Invited to Yankees Camp
The New York Yankees announced the list of players invited to their 2013 Spring Training camp in Tampa, and as expected, there will be plenty of former Charleston RiverDogs in attendance.
In fact, of the 44 players invited, 23 spent time in the Holy City. Seven of those 23 former RiverDogs played for the squad just last year. That group includes outfielder Tyler Austin, shortstop Cito Culver, catchers Francisco Arcia and Gary Sanchez, and pitchers Corey Black, Nick Goody, and Bryan Mitchell.
