Saturday is Folly Gras

The 6th annual Folly Gras will be this Saturday on Folly Beach’s Center Street. The road will be closed from 12 pm until 5 pm so pedestrians can enjoy the festival.

There will be live music, beads, the annual parade and New Orleans–style food and drinks.

Providing the soundtrack to your Folly Gras celebration will be the Shakin’ Martinis, Soul Fish, the Davis Coen Blues Band, Gaslight Street, and Guilt Ridden Troubadour.

The Folly Gras parade will begin at 2 pm in front of the Tides Hotel and will continue down Center Street to East Hudson Avenue.

Mardi Gras attire is encouraged. There will be masks available for purchase on the second floor of city hall. Each mask will come with beads and costs $3.00.
