Free Breast Cancer Screenings This Week
Live 5 News first reported that The Belk Mobile Mammography Center is offering free breast cancer screenings this week at the Citadel Mall and Mount Pleasant Towne Centre.

The 39-foot-long, state-of-the-art screening center on wheels will be at Belk at Citadel Mall on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and at the Belk at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
All screenings will be performed by Charlotte Radiology’s licensed, female mammography-certified technologist. The screenings will then be reviewed by a board-certified radiologist.
Woman age 40 and over with no breast concerns and who have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months are eligible by calling 855-655-2662 to schedule an appointment.
