Locals Make Latest James Beard Foundation Cuts

Some local chefs and restaurants made the latest round of cuts for the 2013 James Beard Foundation’s Awards.

Continuing on will be:

• Best New Restaurant: The Ordinary
• Outstanding Chef: Sean Brock (McCrady’s and Husk)
• Outstanding Wine Program: Charleston Grill at Charleston Place Hotel
• Best Chef Southeast: Jeremiah Bacon, The Macintosh; Craig Deihl, Cypress; and Joshua Keeler, Two Boroughs Larder

You can see their competitors and the other categories here.

This latest list will be whittled down further on March 18th with the winners being announced on May 6th in New York City.
