CofC and CSU Earn Postseason Berths

Two area schools will be sending their basketball teams to postseason tournaments.

The College of Charleston men’s basketball team will make its third appearance in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) while the Charleston Southern men’s squad will take part in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).

The CofC Cougars will host George Mason tomorrow night at 7 pm at the TD Arena. Tickets are available for $15 (general pubic) or FREE if you are a CofC student (must have a valid student ID).

Meanwhile the Buccaneers of CSU will face Southern Mississippi on Wednesday at 9:15 pm at the Reed Green Coliseum.
