Former P&C Reporter on CNN

Former Post & Courier reporter Allyson Bird grabbed many people’s attention a few weeks ago when one of her blog entries went viral. Her post – “Why I left news” – details her reasoning for leaving the field of journalism and the shortcomings of that industry.

The entry was so popular, Bird was even invited to appear on CNN’s Reliable Sources with Howard Kurtz this past Sunday.
