Food Competition Show To Film in Charleston
***UPDATE, 5/25/13***: According to one of the contestants chosen to participate, filming for the show will take place on June 6th at the Citadel Mall.

We may need to rename Charleston something like Reality TV Town, because yet another series will be visiting the Holy City.
Foodmancing the Girl has told Holy City Sinner that a new Food Network show being produced by Gordon Ramsay will be doing some casting in town. The series, Food Court Wars, will be hosted by Tyler Florence.
The program will pit two teams against each other in a battle to win a rent-free space within one of Charleston’s malls.
The network is searching for “local teams with pre-existing relationships (friends, family, couples, co-workers) who believe they have the winning formula to successfully run their own locally inspired and original eatery.”

There are casting calls in other cities as well. One such city is Spartanburg.
