Yup, Mark Sanford is debating a cardboard cut-out of Nancy Pelosi on Ashley Avenue by MUSC…for some reason…

**UPDATE, 10:46am***: The Post & Courier says the tactic was Sanford’s way of calling out Colbert Busch for not debating him.
***UPDATE, 11:01 am***: Bainum explained the spectacle as “Sanford trying to make a point that Colbert Busch wont debate, so he’ll debate her big donor.”

He’s not asking for debates; he’s asking for a co-candidate tour that will *include* debates. He calls it 15 in 5 — 15 appearances in five days.
In other words, he’s asking to ride on her coattails because he has a wide-open schedule.
