The Atlantic Cup’s Long Journey Starts in Charleston

The Atlantic Cup, a top-level sailing race, will start this year’s event in the Charleston Harbor and residents will have a chance to watch from a SpiritLine cruise boat.
The start of this year’s race will be on Saturday, May 11th. Competitors will begin their journey to New York City at 2 pm that afternoon.
The SpiritLine boat will be at the start line and will follow the fleet out to Fort Sumter. There will be live commentary, complementary hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar. Tickets may be purchased here.
