Fox News Radio: Haley Appoints White Supremacist

Just when it seemed South Carolina politics couldn’t get any more absurd, FITSNews and Fox News Radio are both reporting that Governor Nikki Haley appointed a white supremacist to her steering committee.

The person in question is Roan Garcia-Quintana, who the Anti-Defamation League has described as a “white supremacist” and “a well-known leader” in the Coun­cil of Con­ser­v­a­tive Cit­i­zens. That group opposes the immi­gra­tion of “non-European and non-Western peo­ples into the United States.”

To make this story even stranger, Garcia-Quintana is a Cuban immigrant…so wouldn’t being a member of a group that opposes immigration into the U.S. be extra odd for him?
