No Surprise here – History Buffs Love Charleston

Charleston was added to yet another Top 10 list today. Much like the city’s inclusion on USA Today‘s top waterfronts in North America list, this one wasn’t very surprisingly either.
TravelNerd.com has selected the Holy City for inclusion on its Best Cities for History Buffs list.
The website said it was looking “for smaller cities with lesser-known, but no less important, historical landmarks” to comprise this list.
Although the list isn’t numbered, it appears Charleston was put in the number two spot just behind Honolulu. TravelNerd recommends that history fans visiting Chucktown should see the Charleston Museum, Fort Sumter (above), the Aiken-Rhett House Museum, Drayton Hall, Middleton Place and the College of Charleston.
