Charleston Named One of America’s Snobbiest Cities
In the latest issue of Travel + Leisure, Charleston was named one of “America’s Snobbiest Cities”. The Holy City was ranked by the magazine as the tenth most snobby locale in the nation.
Charleston usually performs well with the periodical’s readers, so this listing is a slight surprise. The rankings were created by the magazine after its writers “factored in some traditional staples of snobbery: a reputation for aloof and smarty-pants residents, along with high-end shopping and highbrow cultural offerings like classical music and theater.”
So, what do you think? Are we a little uppity?
