Charleston’s Largest Pubcrawl & Scavenger Hunt Returns
The Charleston Pub Crawl is returning to the Holy City on August 24th for the 2013 edition of the area’s largest scavenger hunt. The widely popular event is expected to draw around 1,000 attendees.
Beginning at 2 pm teams of up to four will travel to multiple downtown bars while competing in a massive scavenger hunt. The groups will compete for multiple prizes including a two-day trip for four to tour the SweetWater Brewery in Atlanta. Speaking of SweetWater, select types of their brews will be available at all participating restaurants for only $2.
For those who don’t want to participate in the scavenger hunt, they can still attend the event and enjoy a guided pub crawl led by SweetWater brewmasters.
The crawl will once again benefit Charleston Waterkeeper, which protects the ”public’s right to swimmable, drinkable, fishable water.” Appropriately, attendees will be able to stay hydrated during the event with plenty of clean Charleston water.
Tickets will be available for purchase here on Monday, July 22nd. Scavenger hunt tickets will be $25, while lead crawls will be $35. There will also be virtual contests prior to the crawl which will be held on the Charleston Pub Crawl Facebook page.
