Aye Mateys! The 1st Annual Pirate Festival is Sunday!
Yo ho yo ho – a pirate’s life for me!
Oh, ahoy there, ye scurvy dogs! The First Annual Charleston Pirate Festival will surely have you saying AAAAARRRR all week long.
The FREE event sets sail (not really – it’s all on dry ground, so you landlubbers needn’t worry) at 12 pm this Sunday at the Charleston Maritime Center and will include:
- Meet and Greet with famous pirates (don’t worry, it’s just people in costumes)
- Story-telling
- Musket Demos
- Entertainment and educational programs
- Pirate artwork and artifacts
- Vendors
The event is co-hosted by the Maritime Center and the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon.
