Vince Dooley Visits Charleston For Book Tour

Vince Dooley, the University of Georgia’s legendary former head coach and athletic director, will be bringing his book tour to the Charleston area.

Outside of football, Dooley’s main passion is gardening. He turned this long-time hobby into a book called “Vince Dooley’s Garden – The Horticultural Journey of a Football Coach,” which he will be promoting in the Holy City.

Dooley will do two book signings at the following locations:

• Home Team BBQ in West Ashley on Friday, August 23rd from 6 pm until 7:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
• Magnolia Plantation & Gardens on Saturday, August 24th from 1 pm – 3 pm. The plantation has a general admission cost of $15 per person.
