Community Garden Being Built in West Ashley

The Charleston Parks Conservancy is working to build a large community garden in West Ashley at the intersection of Sycamore Avenue and Magnolia Road. The appropriately named Magnolia-Sycamore Community Vegetable Garden will provide a space to help residents develop gardening skills through educational programming and will provide fresh produce tolocal food banks.

Although the group has received some funding in the form of a grant, community funds are still needed to complete the project. To donate to the cause, click here. You can view some of the different donor levels here.
