Changing careers is a never an easy move, but it becomes infinitely more difficult when starting your own business. Despite that reality, a former Charleston news reporter decided to make that move and she is now celebrating the rapid growth of her own perfume business.

Kelly Gaskins created Charleston Girl perfume about two years ago just after she left her television career and has watched it blossom into a business with fans throughout the world. Gaskins’ product has secured fans in Brazil, the Netherlands, Chile and even some in Hollywood. Television host and model Vanessa Lachey and actress Jennie Garth have all used the perfume.

Not to mention, Charleston Girl has received plenty of positive press.
