Liberty Tap Room Hosts Westbrook/Stone Beer Dinner on Monday

The Liberty Tap Room & Grill in Mount Pleasant will host a five-course dinner featuring beer pairings from the Westbrook and Stone brewing companies. The event is set for Monday, September 9th beginning at 6:30 pm. It costs $50 per person.

Here’s a look at the menu:

• FIRST COURSE
  • Steamed Mussels: white wine, garlic, toast points
  • with Westbrook Citrus Ninja Exchange and Stone Old Guardian Barleywine Ale
• SECOND COURSE
  • Southern Eggrolls: pulled pork, turnip greens, pimento cheese grits, citrus jalapeno marmalade
  • with Westbrook IPA and Stone Levitation Ale
• THIRD COURSE
  • Cast Iron Seared Monkfish Medallions: sun-dried tomato basil beurre monte, parsnip puree
  • with Westbrok Bearded Farmer and Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale
• FOURTH COURSE
  • Beef Wellington: red wine demi-glace reduction, broccoli rabe
  • with Westbrook 2011 Belgian Quad and Stone 12.12.12 Veritcal Epic Ale
• FIFTH COURSE
  • Raspberry Panna Cotta: chocolate sorbet
  • with Westbrook Mexican Coffee Cake and Stone 2013 Espresso Impreial Russian Stout
