The September edition of Travel & Leisure has named Ted’s Butcherblock’s Bacon of the Month BLT as one of the Best Sandwiches in America.

Here’s what the publication had to say:

It’s difficult to improve upon the classic BLT, which may very well be the best sandwich ever invented. But this market-cum-deli has found a way to reinvent the wheel by rotating its artisanal bacon.

For those scoffing at yet another honor from Travel + Leisure, Food Network Magazine gave the sandwich a similar honor just over a year ago. Plus, Ted’s has a great reputation here in the Holy City. Surely, this is a well-deserved honor.
