American Cancer Society’s Cut-A-Thon is Tomorrow

The Charleston Chapter of the American Cancer Society will be holding their annual Cut-A-Thon charity event tomorrow beginning at 2 pm.

Here’s how the organization describes the event:

The American Cancer Society’s Survivor Suite provides one free wig for patients going through cancer treatment. Because their immune systems are so depleted from the various forms of treatment we want to be sure that we are offering the most sterile product available, which means a NEW (unused) wig. The problem is NEW WIGS are quite expensive so come out and help us raise funds to purchase more wigs for these patients!

Here are the participating salons:

• Attitudes Salon, 1580 Old Trolley Rd., Suite G Summerville
• Vanity Salon, 909 Highway 17 N. Suite T Mt. Pleasant (in Bi- Lo Shopping Center)
• The Healing Boutique in Roper St. Francis, 2085 Henry Tecklenburg Dr. Charleston (In Cancer Center)
