Bringin’ the Cheese: 4th Annual Charleston MAC OFF on 10/12
The Charleston MAC OFF is back! The event, now in its 4th year, features Holy City restaurants battling it out for the title of Greatest Macaroni & Cheese!
The 2013 MAC OFF will be held at The Grove at Patriots Point on Saturday, October 12th at 2 pm. Tickets are $20, $30 or $50 (plus fees) and can be purchased beforehand right here.
Besides all the yummy mac & cheese, there will also be live music, a zip line, TVs for the football games, local vendors, a photo booth, a kid’s center, alcohol for purchase, a pumpkin patch, and more.
According to the event’s official webpage the following restaurants are scheduled to participate: Angel Oak Restaurant, Coleman Public House, Crave, Cherrywood BBQ & Ale House, Fish House, Graze, The Green Goat, Liberty Tap Room & Grill, Mad River, Moose’s Mobile BBQ, Mosaic, New Moon, Poogan’s Porch, The Roost, Rue De Jean, and Sweeney’s.
Last year’s winners were:
- Best Overall Mac and Cheese: Graze
- Best Local Ingredient: The Tomato Shed
- People’s Choice Best Mac and Cheese: Crave
