Summerville’s Mellow Mushroom Opens on Monday

Six months after announcing the restaurant was coming to Summerville , Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers will finally open the new location this Monday. The eatery is located at 1306 N. Main St. in the Azalea Shopping Center.

Keeping with tradition, this Mellow location will have its own unique decor and theme. According to a press release, the restaurant will have a “menagerie of creatures and whimsical settings…reinforced with live plants and soft-green lighting, which sets the tone as you step into the enchanted forest.”

The building will also include:

• A life-size metal, sculpted tree
• Wood tones and earth colors
• The bar will be topped with ice sculpture creatures and tabletop ambient lighting
• The patio will have a fireside area

Mellow Mushroom Summerville will be open 7 days a week during the following hours:

• Sunday – Thursday: 11 am to 12 am
• Friday and Saturday: 11 am to 1 am.
