2013 King Street Shop Walk Returns on 12/13
The King Street Shop Walk, Charleston’s premier holiday shopping event, returns to the Holy City for its fifth straight year on December 13th. More than 60 King Street retailers will be participating this year and each will be offering patrons a night of discounted shopping, holiday celebration and entertainment beginning at 5 pm.Each King Street Shop Walk attendee will receive a “Shop Walk Passport,” which grants them a seemingly endless amount of perks. Shoppers will have access to exclusive discounts and gifts with purchases at all the participating retailers. Plus, the passport gives attendees access to:
- Complimentary champagne, wine, cupcakes, specialty appetizers
- A gourmet hot chocolate bar
- Complimentary eye treatments, hair stylings, trunk shows, and make-up makeovers
- Two door prize tickets
Attendees can earn more door prize tickets as they make purchases throughout the night. Tickets should be turned in at the official Shop Walk After Party at the Charleston Place Hotel where there will be drawings for items like:
- Spa gift certificates
- Local jewelry designs
- A family membership to the Charleston Museum
- Gift certificates to local retailers and restaurants, and much more.
Passports can be picked up at 5 pm at the Charleston Place Hotel. They are $15 if bought in advance or $20 at the door. The first 150 passport sales will receive a Shop Walk swag bag. You can purchase passports here.
Proceeds for the event benefit the Center for Women.
