The forecast for Friday, January 24th and Saturday January 25th in Mt. Pleasant is calling for snow – and lots of it! We’re talking 50 tons!

Winterfest will once again take over the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina and will bring plenty of the fluffy, white stuff with it.

The festival is split into two events starting with the Friday night Après Ski & Snow Party at the Lookout Pavilion. The shindig begins at 8 pm and will run until midnight. The party is for the 21+ crowd and will feature:

  • 25 Tons of snow
  • Rail Jam
  • DJs
  • Specialty cocktails and drinks
  • Ice Luges and an Ice Bar
  • Giveaways
  • Winter fashion is suggested

Admission to the party is $10.

The night event is followed by the Mount Pleasant Community Snow Day on Saturday. The family-friendly fun begins at 11 am. Admission is $5 for Mount Pleasant residents and $10 for everyone else. Kids under 12 are free. This event includes:

  • 50 tons of snow
  • Sledding, rail jam, and jump castles
  • Live music
  • Cornhole tournament
  • Food and beverages

The entire festival benefits the Carolina Children’s Charity. More details can be found on the official website.
