2.2-Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Summerville

A small earthquake was recorded 4 miles outside of Summerville today. According to the Center for Earthquake Research and Information at the University of Memphis, the tremor occurred around 2:32 pm and registered as a 2.2-magnitude quake. It was about 4 miles west-southwest of Lincolnville and 10 miles southeast of Ridgeville.
