Taste of the Market Continues with Oyster Theme
The Taste of the Market returns tomorrow with its first event of 2014. The culinary shindig is held at the Palmetto Carriage Company Lot on Anson Street from 5:30 pm until 8 pm.
Attendees can enjoy free samples from Market Street restaurants, raffles, chef demonstrations, live music, beer sales and more. For this week’s event, the participating restaurants will use oysters as inspiration when creating their samples.
Participating restaurants include:
- Lowcountry Bistro
- Noisy Oyster
- Mad River
- AW Shucks
- Wild Wing Café
- Tabbuli
- Charleston Crab House
- Sweet CeCe’s Frozen Yogurt and Treats
- Henry’s
- Burwell’s Stone Fire Grill
- Tommy Condon’s (new to the event)
- The Peanut Shop (new to the event)
- Leaf (new to the event)
- Molly Darcy’s (new to the event)
Tickets are $10 per person (children 10 and under are free). Ticket holders also have access to happy hour pricing from the participating restaurants and discounts from the stores on Market Street.
Tickets are available at the event or through the Charleston Culinary Tours website. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the local charity Hospitality Heroes.
