Local Film Showcase at the Charleston Music Hall this Sunday
The Charleston Music Hall will once again transform into the Charleston MOVIE Hall on Sunday at 7 pm. The downtown venue will host a “Local Film Showcase” featuring a handful of movies from Charlestonians.
Here’s the schedule (in order of appearance):
- “If You Return” Directed by Zac Breitengross (15 mins)
- “Deciphering their environment while becoming part of it, an obsessive man and troubled woman search for identity.”
- “Johnny Delaware “Saralinah” Music Video” Directed by Kirby (4 mins)
- “Wrench” Directed by James Edward Tilden (narrative, 13 mins)
- “Alan is stuck in a dreary office 9 to 5 lifestyle. One day an employment ad promising fun and money turns his world upside down.”
- “What Remains” Directed by LeAnn Cannon (3 mins)
- “An experimental film/music video.”
- “Nothing” Directed by Kyle Perritt (24 mins)
- “Alex’s life is forever changed when she seeks out affection from her high school teacher.”
- “Camgirl” Directed by Charlotte Savage and Greg Hornak (9 mins)
- Documentary. A look into the life of Jessie, also known as “JaeFilth,” who makes her living posing nude via liv webcam.
- “Rachel Kate “Lost” Music Video” Directed by Landon Phillips and Jenny Kleiman (5 mins)
- “A Place to Stay” Directed by Henry Snyder (narrative, 60 mins)
- “Danny has two part-time jobs and a girlfriend losing her patience. He wants something to change, but can’t seem to make any changes. A lot of cigarettes get smoked in the breakroom.”
