Your Pizza Creation Could End up on Mellow Mushroom’s Menu

Mellow Mushroom has always been known for their creative pizzas, but now they are looking to the community for the next great creation. Three area locations have launched the Mellow Grown Challenge in conjunction with the limited-time Home Grown Picks menu.

After you create the best pizza you can think of, submit it to Mellow Mushroom – it’s that simple! From there, 10 pizzas will be chosen to be put up for public voting. The creation earning the most votes will be featured as the Charity Pizza Of The Month during April at three area Mellow Mushrooms (King St., Avondale, and Summerville). Plus, a portion of the proceeds from the pizza’s sales will go to the charity of the winner’s choice. The contest is already underway and will conclude on March 9th. Top 10 voting runs from March 17th until March 23rd.

There are three ways to submit a favorite pizza recipe:

1. On Facebook
2. When you order one of the Home Grown Pick items off the menu
3. When you build your own creation at Mellow Mushroom (FYI – all recipes must use the current ingredient options).

Home Grown Picks is a limited-time menu that showcases the winners of the Home Grown Challenge. The menu currently consists of recipes from Mellow employees.
